A number of awards and prizes are available for presenters at ESA18.
This year, a new prize will be offered, for early career researchers, and post graduate students.
Early Career Researcher Prize for Modelling or Technological Advances to Aid Conservation
Offered by Dr Iadine Chades and Dr Ayesha Tulloch
This award offers two prizes, one to an early career researcher and one to a postgraduate student, presenting a poster OR oral presentation at the annual Ecological Society of Australia conference. The prizes will be awarded to the best research outlining a technological advance or modelling approach that helps inform wildlife management and conservation decisions in Australia or globally. Each award comes with a cash prize of $250.
Eligible authors are requested to indicate their interest in being considered for this award when submitting an abstract for presentation at ESA18.
